THE CONQUEST OF THE WEST IS OVERRATED.
It seems that things are moving in the East, however… and fast. Those new horizons are for me! First impressions on arrival: this is no ‘Far East’… The people of Franche-Comté are welcoming and proud to show off their region’s wealth. And they’re also happy to simplify procedures to help newcomers like me to move to the area – luckily, since studies, relocation and house moves usually mean changes, uncertainty and new situations to deal with. And at first glance, you have to say that the region isn’t lacking in new situations and opportunities. Thanks to the new high-speed Rhine-Rhône rail link, the future lies in the East, I’m convinced of it. You just need to know how to jump on the bandwagon!
