<p>With the commissioning of the TGV Rhine-Rhone, Franche-Comté change of pace.</p>
<p><strong>Mini travel time, infrastructure Max</strong><br />
LGV allow users to gain 25 minutes over 1 hour 30 minutes depending on connections. Thus, it is now possible to the people of Ile-de-France to join Besançon Franche-Comté 2:05 TGV (instead of 2:30 now) and the new station Belfort-Montbéliard TGV 2:15 (instead of about 3:30 now!) . A new line will also connect Strasbourg to Lyons, through these two stations. These links fit into an integrated European network, with the key travel times reduced to Zurich and Frankfurt.</p>
<p>The section completed in 2011 covers 140 km and passes through 85 municipalities between Villers-les-Pots, east of Dijon, and Petit-Croix, in the east of Belfort.<br />
The 64 daily TGV to borrow this line will pass through a tunnel, about 160 bridges and 13 viaducts!</p>
<p><strong>Economy: transition to the next level</strong><br />
In five years, the construction of the LGV Rhin-Rhône generated 6,100 direct and indirect jobs per year. With trade opening line, more than 2.4 million passengers are expected every year in the two new stations of Besançon and Franche-Comte Belfort-Montbéliard TGV . &#8221;TGV effect&#8221; will play a full round of these sites, where strong growth of tertiary activities is expected. In addition,<br />

The increased speed of the paths have a direct impact on tourism today, over 20% of French tourists in Franche-Comté come from Ile-de-France, which makes them potential customers of the Rhine- Rhone. The regional events will open up more domestic tourism, and events of national scope will appeal to a European clientele, from Switzerland and Germany in particular.</p>
